Dr Choong-Siew Yong
Dr Yong is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and the Psychiatry Craft Group Representative on the AMA’s Federal Council. Choong-Siew Yong trained in medicine at the University of Sydney and Westmead Hospital Clinical School. He trained in psychiatry at Cumberland, Westmead, Blacktown and St John of God Hospitals in Western Sydney and is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. Choong-Siew was awarded a Training Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and underwent sub-speciality training at the Prince of Wales Hospital and the Children's Hospital at Westmead. He has worked as Staff Specialist at Sydney West Area Mental Health Service and a visiting medical officer in child psychiatry at the North Coast Area Health Service. Choong-Siew is currently the Clinical Director of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service for the Hunter New England Area Health Service. In addition to being a practicing clinical psychiatrist, he has been a Coordinator of Psychiatry Training and a past Lecturer for the NSW Institute of Psychiatry. He also serves on the NSW Medical Board and has previously been President of AMA (NSW) and Federal Vice-President of the AMA. Choong-Siew is an Honorary Fellow of the Centre for International Mental Health, University of Melbourne and is currently undertaking an MBA at the Australian Graduate School of Management in Sydney
Dr Bill Pring
Dr Pring is a general psychiatrist who works predominantly in private practice, but has also been involved in consultation–liaison (Psychosomatics) psychiatry in the public sector for twenty–four years, including twelve years as Director of Box Hill Hospital Consultation– Liaison Psychiatry Service. Bill has served on the Victorian Branch of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) including terms as Secretary, Chair, and as Branch General Councillor. Within the Australian Medical Association (AMA), Bill was firstly involved as a Committee Member, and then Secretary of the AMA Section of Psychiatry in Victoria. He has served as Psychiatry Craft Group Representative on the AMA Federal Council and was the Chair of the Federal AMA Public Health and Aged Care Committee. Bill is the AMA Observer on PMHA and Chaired the PMHA's Centralised Data Management Service (CDMS) Management Committee.
Ms Moira Munro
Moira is the PMHA's Deputy Chair, and is the Chief Executive Officer of Perth Clinic, a 98 bed Acute Private Psychiatric Hospital in Perth, Western Australia (WA). She is a member of the Board of Directors of Perth Clinic and is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Moira has served on the Australian Private Hospital Association (APHA), Psychiatric Sub–committee as the WA representative and has been committed to promoting the work of APHA and private hospitals. She is a Director on the board of APHA and Chairs the Private Hospitals Association of WA Psychiatric Committee. Moira holds a number of Board, Council and Committee memberships across local, state and national arenas. She is Deputy Chair of the PMHA and represents PMHA on the Australian Government's Mental Health Standing Committee and its Mental Health Information Strategy Sub–committee. As a result of her extensive participation throughout the health care industry, and in particular the private sector, Moira has a unique understanding of the issues facing the sector on a number of levels including the local operator perspective through to broad industry wide and legislative viewpoints.
Ms Carol Turnbull
Carol is the CEO of Ramsay Healthcare in South Australia and a member of the APHA's Psychiatric Committee.
Ms Andrea Selleck
Andrea is the Chair of the AHIA's Mental Health Committee and Hospital Contract Manager for Medibank Private. In her role with Medibank Andrea is primarily responsible for negotiating Hospital Provider Purchaser Agreements with private hospitals around Australia on behalf of the Medibank Private. Andrea also represents the Medibank on several AHIA Sub–committees including the Rehabilitation Sub–Committee, the Australasian Rehabilitation Outcomes Centre (AROC) Scientific and Clinical Advisory Committee, the National Procedures Banding Committee and the Hospital 2nd Tier Benefit Advisory Committee.

Ms Janne McMahon
Ms Janne McMahon OAM is the consumer representative on the PMHA. Janne is the Independent Chair of the Private Mental health Consumer Carer Network (Australia) and has served as a member of the Management Committee for Bluevoices and Board Member of the Mental Health Council of Australia. She was a member of the Management Group for the RANZCP development of complaints handling Procedures and has chaired several Committees for the RANZCP. Janne is a consumer surveyor with the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards. Additionally, Janne was appointed by the Australian Government as the consumer representative on the National Evaluation Reference Group and the Reference Group for the National Demonstration Projects on Integrated Mental Health Services. In 2008, Janne was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia in Queen's Birthday Honours List for service to the community in the area of mental health advocacy, particularly for private mental health consumers and carers.
Mr Patrick Hardwick
Mr Patrick Hardwick Patrick represents Carers on the PMHA. Patrick is interested in enhancing promotion of services available for carers and advocating for their rights and needs. He wants to see a cultural change where mental health services take a more family centred approach to treatment and support and automatically involve carers in their planning and decision making processes. Patrick has been the President of ARAFMI (WA) for a period totalling 5 years and is a past Board Member of the Mental Health Council of Australia.
